Gerry McCann has told how he blames himself for
daughter Madeleine's disappearance and
confessed he fears he may never see her again.
Riddled with guilt, the distraught dad said he
wished he'd never gone out for a meal with
friends and left the youngster asleep in
their apartment on that fateful night last May.
WE'LL NEVER SEE HER AGAIN
Gerry now fears his daughter may be dead.
He said: "I know now, probably,
the chances of getting Madeleine back are slim.
You know it's difficult. Very difficult.
You might never see her again.
But still you have hope. Still.

des Willens der Mutter nicht sehen darf, kann ich sehr gut verstehen wie
das Verschwinden von Madeleine euch getroffen hat. Wieviel Ihr euch
um die Madeleine sorgt und dennoch hofft Sie wieder zu sehen, Sie in Eure Arme zu schließen.
Gebet nicht auf zu Hoffen und zu Glauben.
Oh Heiliger Jesus in den Himmeln, bitte laß Kate und Gerry es ertragen,
was wir nur erahnen können an deren Schmerz. Du "Ewiger Gerechter
Gott" vermagst alles, nichts ist Dir unmöglich zum Guten zu wenden.
Auch, wenn die Ungerechtigkeit übermächtig erscheint, Du Retter,
